From the renowned high difficulty action RPG DARK SOULS, "Abyssal Walking Artorius" has been fully supervised by FromSoftware's design team to be sculpted into a 1/6 scale statue. Aiming to create the definitive version of Artorius, the statue is not only sculpted but also exudes the character's upbringing and inner life. The pose is based on the tense movie in which Artorius appears for the first time, and the artist sought the most appropriate timing to make the figure look three-dimensional. The pose of Artorius bending his upper body to capture the player is reminiscent of his symbol, the wolf. Although his entire body has been consumed by the darkness of the abyss, his armor is thoroughly reproduced with a detailed design that suggests that he was once a noble knight. The chainmail is reproduced using the "woven chainmail is pasted on the prototype just like the real thing" method. The damaged and shredded parts of the armor are also reproduced. The pedestal is based on the motif of the arena of Uraciel where the decisive battle takes place, and the darkness of the abyss that consumes Artorius is reproduced at the feet of the pedestal. The left arm, which was deeply wounded in a previous battle and can never be moved again, is captured hanging down, unable to resist gravity. Almost the entire body is made of hard material (ABS) as a skeleton, and the surrounding area is covered with a material (PVC) with a high degree of shape reproduction, which prevents deformation even after a long period of exhibition.
