"Hyuga" is a helicopter-equipped escort ship (Hyuga type 1st ship) of the Maritime Self-Defense Force, which was put into service on March 18, 2009.
Since the reorganization on March 25, 2015, it currently belongs to the 3rd Escort Group 3rd Escort Corps and is deployed at Maizuru Base.
The kit reproduces the latest state as a full hull model.
It is a full-scale scale model that is easy for beginners with a reduced number of parts.
Two carrier-based aircraft, MCH-101, SH-60K, and MV-22, are included.
The carrier-based work vehicle comes with a 25t crane, rescue vehicle, tow vehicle, and remote-controlled electric handler.
