The last YS-11 of the 61st Air Transport Squadron, which is the only operation of the Maritime Self-Defense Force, is scheduled to retire in the fall of 2014.
The vertical stabilizer of this unit is marked with a large "camel".
The kit will be a selection type of the 61st Air Transport Squadron transport aircraft type M and the 205th Air Transport Squadron anti-submarine patrol aircraft work training aircraft type T.
The M-shaped window is reproduced with decals. Each T-shaped fairing sets plastic parts.
