After the first Antarctic observation, every time we came to second and third, Soya received a major remodel. We have newly developed the upper part of hull, bridge, deck, helideck, gate mast and so on. ■ The front deck reproduces the flat state without the notch period of the ship side. Equipped with a thin bilge keel of 4-part type on one side. ■ Expansion of large deck for departure and arrival by helicopter. ■ Expansion of the extension beside the bridge. ■ Expansion of front gate type mast and movement of rear gate type mast. ■ Onboard machines are newly equipped with one watercraft DHC-2 and Sikorsky S-58. As a bonus only for the first shipment, Taro / Giro of 1/32 scale and Metal figure of observer member are set.
