Plastic Sci-Fi/Animation Character Assembly Kit Steel Rain is a rotary-wing aircraft-type variable hexagear classified as 2.5 generation. In pursuit of the crystalline furnace, the cause of the long-running inter-corporate war, and the enormous value it produces, people have ignored the warnings of environmental management AI and continued to generate hexagrams as they desire. MSG, one of the world's largest military-industrial complexes, which had realized the necessity to end the conflict as soon as possible, began to develop a new concept of Hexagear as a way to break the war situation. The new models that were completed included the “early type,” which was a “rotary-wing aircraft type with its power replaced by Hexagrams,” and the “late type,” which was given a system conversion mechanism to a human type. Although they are very similar in appearance, their characteristics are very different. While the “early type” has no major characteristics other than being an aircraft that was already disappearing from the world at the time, it boasts high reliability and ground attack capability thanks to its abundant live ammunition options, including two 20mm Gatling guns as standard specifications, and the combination of these features with its ability to attack from the sky makes it an ideal weapon for vehicles and the second type, which was based on bipedal walking. The combination of these features, combined with its ability to attack from above, gives it a significant advantage over vehicles and second-generation Hexagear of the time, which was based on bipedal walking. In addition to this, the later type has a BMI added to its operating system and work limbs for extremely rapid firearms conversion and transport of supplies, as well as the versatility to perform suppressive combat on the ground with its variable mechanisms, making it a 2.5-generation Hexagear. However, the production cost of the aircraft has grown to the equivalent of several Bulk Arm α units, and even when viewed across the entire second generation of Hexagear, it must be said that it was clearly a high-cost machine. In terms of operation, the delicate maintenance of the aircraft and frequent supply of ammunition were not something that could be handled by the flight governors, and it goes without saying that the presence of various ground support units equipped with advanced technology was essential. In addition, in order to fully demonstrate its flight performance, a considerable number of Hexagrams were required just to power the main rotors, which was more than ten times that of other second-generation Hexagears. This is the price to pay for specifications that allow even heavy supplies and Hexagear to be transported by air, but it is especially noticeable in the later types, whose own weight is also increased due to the transformation mechanism. Although the effect of deploying steel-rain units to the front was consistently high, and even in later years the results were evaluated to be well worth the cost, it was not easy even for MSG, which boasted huge capital at the time, to keep up with this large resource load. For this reason, there is even a joke that this machine was “thrown out of the base immediately after it was deployed in a tight battlefield, even though it advanced dramatically like a rainstorm. A “rain of steel” appeared in the battlefield sky, forcing the silence of all “things” crawling on the ground in a storm of bullets. Unknown forces have entered the MSG controlled area. We will now move to eliminate them. Weapons on board 20mm Gatling gun Air-to-surface missile Rocket pod Anti-personnel machine gun Iron fist Product specifications System can be converted from attack helicopter type “vehicle mode” to “humanoid mode”. Fully enclosed cockpit can actually carry a governor (sold separately). The seat unit in the cockpit can be adjusted to fit the model by reclining and sliding the seat itself. Highly detailed cockpit consists of two movable levers and a movable foot pedal, allowing you to enjoy the realistic cockpit posture of the governor. The rotary wing unit can rotate freely and the blades can be folded down. Two types of “armored windshield” are included, one with a built-in head unit [Late Type] and the other with a transparent canopy [Early Type], allowing you to use them as you like. The included [20mm Gatling gun] can be used by disassembling each part like a heavy weapon unit, and is also compatible with the optional [Weapon Unit 30 Belt Link], which allows you to reinforce the total number of rounds. ■The included “air-to-surface missiles” can be removed from the pylon one at a time. The pylons can also be deployed to create a parallel arrangement of missiles. The included “rocket launcher” can be disassembled and extended freely by adopting the hexagram system to connect the main unit. Can be used in combination with attachments to increase the degree of freedom. Corresponding to the Flying Base Neo (sold separately), you can respond to the dramatic display. [Accessories].
