Action Figures (Anime/Sci-Fi Characters) From PeariA?known for ROVER ROBIN?comes a large-scale playset based on *Godzilla vs. Biollante*! “Godzilla vs. Biollante” joins the “World in Your Pocket” series from Taiwanese hobby manufacturer PeariA, which brings 90s-style playsets back to life! This deluxe set includes a 14 cm-tall Godzilla head and a 22 cm-tall Biollante head. When you open Godzilla’s head, a Godzilla action figure and a destroyed cityscape appear inside. The lower jaw opens further to reveal a seaside scene with a ship floating in the water. The nose section of the Godzilla head detaches to become the “Super X2,” the Japan Ground Self-Defense Force’s anti-Godzilla weapon that battles Godzilla in the movie! You can illuminate the set by using two SR621 button batteries (sold separately). By activating the heat ray part stored at Godzilla’s feet and attaching it to Godzilla’s mouth, you can recreate the scene where Godzilla destroys a ship with a heat ray. By tilting the heat ray part to the opposite side and placing the Super X2 on the magnetic tip, you can also recreate the scene where the heat ray is deflected. The Super X2’s light is activated by a magnetic switch, so it lights up when placed on the magnetic section. On Godzilla’s back, the building on the right unfolds to reveal a cluster of collapsed buildings. When the building on the left unfolds, it reveals a compartment that houses a special-edition Robin figure. Biollante’s head unfolds to the left and right. From inside, an action figure of Biollante?having evolved into her plant-beast form?and a scene of the waters off Wakasa Bay, the site of the final battle, are revealed. Two Type 92 Maser Beam Tanks can be placed on either side of Biollante. The turret section of the Maser Beam Tanks is movable. The tentacles on both sides of Biollante move in coordination with the fangs on Biollante’s head. Two potential difference generators are installed on the ground; each can be illuminated by using two SR621 button batteries (sold separately) per unit (for a total of four batteries). The potential difference generators feature magnetic switches; just as in the movie, when Godzilla’s action figure steps on them, the magnets installed on the soles of Godzilla’s feet activate the lights, allowing you to recreate the scene where the M6000TC system?the key to Operation Thunder Beam?is activated. Biollante’s abdomen is made of clear plastic, so by placing Biollante over the illuminated voltage generators, you can recreate the glowing core seen in the movie. The Godzilla and Biollante playsets can be positioned facing each other and displayed as a large-scale playset.
