Plastic SF/Anime Character Assembly Kit The fourth installment in the “Beautiful Girls × Mechanics” series, “Megami Devices,” featuring a new base body series! The fourth Megami figure, featuring the all-new “Machinica Block2-M” base body that has finally been unveiled, is the BUSTER DOLL Paladin!! Designed by Maki Asai, the “Machinica Block 2-M” is a completely new base body with a significantly overhauled structure. Each part’s structure was reexamined from scratch, and the design was developed to maximize ease of assembly and expandability through part swapping. Of course, the proportions have also been updated to create even more beautiful lines, resulting in a finish that will offer a fresh sense of wonder to everyone who has purchased Megami Devices in the past. The BUSTER DOLL Paladin, designed specifically for this new base body, features concept art by Megami Device producer Tori Toriyama and mechanical design by Tasuku himself, the lead designer. As a result, it’s engineered to allow for more systematic assembly and greater customization enjoyment compared to previous Megami Device kits. Character design is by Parsley, whose stunning illustrations continue to captivate fans, adding a touch of elegance to the new series. We hope you’ll have the chance to get your hands on the BUSTER DOLL Paladin, a figure in which every part embodies freshness and future potential. [Accessories/Features] ・Features the completely newly designed “Machinica Block 2-M” as the base body. We’ve pursued ease of assembly and aesthetic beauty to the absolute limit. ・Includes weapon parts with a layered structure resembling multi-layered armor, as well as highly expandable parts featuring numerous joint holes. ・In addition to costume parts inspired by a blazer, the set includes chest and waist parts that allow for assembly as a pure base figure. ・In addition to three types of pre-painted face parts, a plain face part without details is also included. ・You can recreate both the “Armed Mode” with armor equipped and the “Base Mode” with armor removed simply by swapping parts. ・All three types of wrists are made of plastic; the weapon-holding wrists are designed to accommodate both round and square grips, allowing for easy and secure holding with just a simple insertion. ・A newly designed dedicated stand is included. It provides more stable support for freestanding display than previous models. ・Thanks to the 3mm-diameter joints located throughout the figure and head compatibility, parts can be used interchangeably with existing series such as “M.S.G,” “Frame Arms,” “Frame Arms Girl,” “Hexa Gear,” “S?sai Sh?jo Teien,” and “Arcadia.” [What is Megami Device?] This is a plastic model series conceived as a “near-future battle hobby” featuring 14cm-tall, freestanding robot figures that you can build, customize, and battle with, much like enjoying traditional plastic models. Centered around the “Machinica Series”?a new base body designed by Maki Asai, a leading figure in the field of articulated figures?the series features characters and mechs created by a variety of designers. The parts are color-separated, and the face is pre-painted using tampo printing, so the finished product closely matches the design concept simply by assembling it. The use of 3mm-diameter joint holes ensures not only part compatibility within the series but also allows for combination with many Kotobukiya plastic model parts already on the market. *This product is a reissue.
