Tagame:
It is the largest aquatic insect in Japan, and among the turtles in the world, it has a relatively large and strong arm (front leg) and looks good.
In contrast to many other species of turtles, which have smaller front legs and better swimming ability, this may be because Japanese turtles have adapted to hunt wild prey, mainly frogs, in shallow waters.
In addition to frogs, the main prey is fish such as dojo and funa, aquatic insects, and sometimes snakes, and large prey is caught by strangling with six legs.
It lives in ponds, paddy fields, and slow-flowing rivers, but disappeared in many areas when pesticides were once used in large quantities.
At the beginning of summer, eggs are laid on plant stems and wooden stakes, and males take good care of their eggs by replenishing water and protecting them from foreign enemies.

Ginyanma (Yago):
It is a large dragonfly that is familiar with flying around the pond, and prefers a bright and open place.
The larvae of the larvae also live in ponds and paddy fields where there is no flow, and they are sometimes caught by the turtles that live in the same environment.
On the contrary, for the turtle, among the small larvae, the yago is also one of the scary natural enemies.
