Plastic Assembled Figure Kit The Guardian God of the East is now available as a high-resolution injection kit! KAIYODO has been producing many "top-quality replicas that can be held in one's hand" by capturing the characteristics of works of art and standing statues through precision and exquisite balance based on a thorough eye for observation. KAIYODO is now launching a series of plastic modeling kits that attempt to express this technology in the form of injection kits of "Buddhist statues"! The first in the series will be a plastic model of Jikkouten, a Buddhist deity holding a three-pronged spear and glaring at the principal image of a temple or shrine from all directions, from the "Shitenno Statue" series. Product Introduction. The figure of Mochikokuten, who is positioned to the east (left front) of the main deity in the Four Heavenly Kings statue, is sculpted at a height of approximately 160mm, allowing the viewer to enjoy just the right amount of presence and fine detail when holding it in their hands. The expression of the figure, with its tightly closed mouth and piercing eyes, the motif of the armor and robe worn by the Tang Dynasty warriors, and the static yet hidden power inside, all contribute to the figure's unique appearance. The figure's appearance is static, but with a sense of power hidden inside. The three-pronged spear held in the left hand, the roughly shaped pedestal, and the sashes hanging down from the left and right are all well-designed and sculpted. The surface decoration of the armor is also a highlight of Jikkouten, with its subtle unevenness, and even the texture of different materials such as cloth, leather, and skin are reproduced through sculpture. The details and characteristic curves of each part are not crushed by the injection molding process due to the convenience of the mold molding process. The parts are skillfully divided to ensure the beauty of the finished assembly. In particular, the ears, armored shoulder pads, and other small parts are molded with a high degree of precision to create a beautiful figure down to the smallest detail. By minimizing the number of parts, the figure of Mochikuten, which is formed by a combination of complex curved surfaces, can be assembled in a simple assembly process.
