Plastic Assembled Figure Kit ARTPLA Four Heavenly Kings Statue Tamonten The divine general who protects the north is now available as a high-resolution injection kit! KAIYODO has been producing many "top-quality replicas in hand" by capturing the characteristics of works of art and standing statues through precision and exquisite balance based on a thorough eye for observation. This is the second in a series of plastic modeling kits that attempt to express this technology in the form of injection kits of "Buddhist statues". The "Four Heavenly Kings," Buddhist deities that protect the principal image of a temple or shrine from all directions, will be sculpted into a figure holding a three-pronged spear. Tamonten" holding a three-pronged spear and looking up to the sky with a pagoda raised in the air has been sculpted into a Plastic Mokei. Tamon-ten, who is positioned in the northern (left rear) corner of the Four Heavenly Kings statue as seen from the main image, is sculpted at a height of approximately 160mm to allow the viewer to appreciate just the right amount of presence and fine detail when holding the statue in their hands. Tamonten, also known as Bishamonten in Japan, is worshipped solely as a god of victory and fertility, and is even counted as one of the seven gods of good fortune. When placed as a statue of the Four Heavenly Kings, it is sculpted, like other Buddhist statues, in the motif of armor worn by warriors of the Tang Dynasty in China, and in a costume made up of heavenly garments. In this item, the pagoda in his hand is held high, his mouth is lightly opened, and he looks up to the heavens, with gestures and facial expressions that remind us that there is something more precious beyond our gaze. The statue is a perfect representation of the serene atmosphere of the real Tamon-ten statue. In addition to the three-armed spear in his right hand, which is an indispensable part of Tamonten, and the wildly shaped base, the pagoda in his hand, which is said to bring wealth, are also sculpted in the same way as in the real statue. The sculpture expresses the elaboration of the decoration on the surface of the armor expressed by subtle unevenness, the shape of the waist armor which is different on the left and right sides, and the different material feeling such as cloth, leather, and skin. The sculpture also expresses the unique texture of the armor, which can be felt only in a Buddhist statue, and which has been passed down through the years. The details of each part and the characteristic curves of the sculpture were carefully designed so that they would not be crushed by the molding process due to the effects of injection molding. Especially, the detailed parts such as the ears and the shoulder pads of the armor are also molded with high precision, and the original figure's precision has been preserved. The high precision of the original form is expressed as it is in the plastic modeling. The number of parts has been kept to a minimum, allowing the figure of Tamonten to be assembled in a simple assembly process. The beautifully curved surfaces, the intricate workmanship, and the presence of the god of war can be enjoyed with ease. The item allows you to enjoy the presence of the god of war in a casual manner. The superbly sculpted statues of the Four Heavenly Kings are being made into plastic models one after another! Following Jikokuten protecting the east and Tamonten protecting the north, the remaining two statues of the Four Heavenly Kings will be released one after another. Hiromokuten, who protects the north and west, and Zocho-ten, who protects the south, will also be released. The individuality of each statue, including the expressions on their faces and armor, has been sculpted into a solid form. The four statues of the Four Heavenly Kings are truly complete when placed side by side. We hope you will enjoy the majesty and presence of these statues from the plastic model kei.
