Plastic SF/Anime Character Assembly Kit Mechagodzilla, the robot monster whose entire body is a weapon, joins the ARTPLA lineup! 〈Text〉 From the 1975 film *The Revenge of Mechagodzilla*, Mechagodzilla joins the ARTPLA lineup. The prototype was created by sculptor Taro Murai. Inspired by Mechagodzilla’s attack on the city of Yokosuka in the film, this completely new sculpt brings to life the “power,” “destruction,” and “ferocity” etched in viewers’ memories from those scenes. The design incorporates motifs such as sumo wrestlers, Kabuki, and Hannya masks as the essence of its aesthetic. It elevates the impression of Mechagodzilla from the film into a design that is even more powerful and commanding. Additionally, a diorama base featuring destroyed buildings and rubble is included. This showcases Mechagodzilla ravaging the city and highlights its immense scale. By swapping out parts, you can recreate the head with its internal electronic brain exposed. The mouth, neck, wrists, and waist feature articulation, and the Cross Attack Beam hatch can be attached in either an open or closed position.
