Plastic SF/Anime Character Assembly Kit This alien plastic model is inspired by the Kofu Incident, one of Japan's three major UFO incidents! At approximately 6:30 PM on February 23, 1975, two elementary school students playing near a vineyard near Kamimachi Danchi in Kofu City, Yamanashi Prefecture, witnessed an orange object flying overhead and subsequently encountered an alien-like creature. Due to multiple other sightings and the presence of credible physical evidence, such as landing marks, this unidentified flying object (UFO) became nationally famous as one of Japan's three major UFO incidents. The "Kofu Incident Alien ver. ZO" is a plastic model of a sculpture originally created by sculptor Genzo Ihara as a sample for "Hobby Japan H.M.S. Fantasy Model World: UMA - Unidentified Living Organisms -" (published February 27, 2024). While capturing the characteristics and key points of the sightings, this figure incorporates a unique interpretation, resulting in a retro-futuristic, somewhat nostalgic, eerie, and endearing design.
