It is P - 38 lightning which is known from the unique style by 'nickname' devil '.
The layout with only the cockpit and armament on the center fuselage and the layout of the engine and the exhaust turbine on the left and right fuselage was a secret strategy to minimize the disadvantages of the twin engine and make the most of its advantages.
As a twin planner during World War II, the aircraft, which was compactly assembled, showed outstanding speed performance and mobility as well as large loading capacity and cruising power.
It became a unique twin fighter combining high speed heavily armed but also lightening.
The first mass production type appeared in 1942.
After that, various improved types appeared, and it was active until the end of the war in a wide range of territories from the Pacific Ocean to Europe.
Even though both of the No. 1 ranking and No. 2 ranking ranking of the fighter pilot pilot of the US Army Air Corps squad this P-38 as a rider, this fuselage fighter plane must not be indispensable to the US Army Air Corps unit I understand that it was a fighting force.

The type was P - 38J produced most as the main force of the latter half of the war.
It is characterized by "jaws" of both engines which became big with intercooler strengthening.
The kit has a different part composition from the general reciprocal battle aircraft to reproduce the unique airframe configuration, but adds new white metal parts so that you can assemble surely.
We support the assembling of the aircraft with the worm spar (auxiliary girder) parts which ensure the assembly of the main wing and the wing interior parts for preventing stiffness.
