The T-33 Shooting Star was also used by the Japanese Air Self-Defense Force and was a familiar aircraft in Japanese skies. It was powered by a single Allison J33-A-35 centrifugal turbojet engine. It boasted a maximum speed of Mach 0.8 without tip tanks or guise armament. By 1959, more than 6,500 aircraft had been produced, making it a best-selling aircraft used in more than 30 countries around the world. Many of them were also deployed and operated in western European countries, and the West German Air Force, with the cooperation of the United States after World War II, operated it for a long time as one of the most important aircraft for air force maintenance. [About the model.] This plastic model assembly kit reproduces the American jet trainer aircraft, T-33A in 1/72 scale. The kit consists of easy-to-assemble parts and measures approximately 150mm in length. In addition, delicate expressions such as panel lines enhance the realism of the model. The airbrakes can be assembled with the option of opening or closing. In addition to the delicate reproduction of the legs, the storage compartment cannot be overlooked. The cockpit is realistically modeled with instrument panel and control rods inside the front and rear tandem layout. The markings reproduce the markings of the T-33 demonstration aircraft operated by the West German Air Force in the 1960s. The decals are made by Cartograf of Italy, which has a reputation for high quality. The kit is a fun kit to enjoy the eye-catching and flashy markings that are unique to demonstration aircraft. The kit includes the markings of two demonstration aircraft. You can choose either one to finish the kit.
