ACMI parts are prepared with the latest 3D printed parts About the actual aircraft: The F-15J Eagle is still the mainstay fighter of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, and is known for its unique paint scheme and markings. The Aggressor (Virtual Enemy Aircraft) Unit of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force was established in 1981. Until 2014, it was known as the Flight Instruction Squadron, and thereafter as the Flight Instruction Group. It is known as an elite unit with dedicated aircraft and skilled crews whose main mission is to train for air combat with various fighter squadrons. The F-15 Eagle is painted in a variety of special colors to make it easier to identify in the air. Because of its unique coloring, the F-15 Eagle is highly popular among the Air Self-Defense Force aircraft. The Air Self-Defense Force sometimes equips its fighters with the Air Combat Maneuver Measuring Instrument (ACMI), which records their speed and attitude, for training in aerial combat. Even the Aggressor aircraft, which play the role of virtual enemy aircraft, are equipped with this equipment for their activities. About the model: This plastic model assembly kit of the 1/72 Platz Air Self-Defense Force F-15J Eagle is highly acclaimed by airplane model fans. The model consists of F-15Js of the Aggressor Squadron, which play virtual enemies in training. Among them, the kit reproduces the 903 with markings from the period before 2016, when it was based at Shintabara Air Base in Miyazaki Prefecture and was called the Flight Instructor Unit until 2014. In addition, this kit features 3D printed parts for the ACMI air maneuver measurement pod, which is equipped during air maneuver training. It is reproduced with the sharp and delicate detail that only 3D printing can provide. The fuselage is modeled in 1/72 scale and detailed down to the panel lines. The engine nozzles, which were reproduced in separate parts, and the delicate reproduction of the legs are also not to be missed. This kit is a fun kit with a different finish that is a must-have addition to any Self-Defense Forces fan's collection. The kit is a plastic model assembly kit of the Air Self-Defense Force F-15J in 1/72 scale. Includes 3D printed parts that reproduce the ACMI equipped on the aircraft (made by Mach3 models). Decals to reproduce the markings on the fuselage are made by Cartograf of Italy, a high quality company. The engine nozzles are carefully designed and realistically finished by dividing the parts. Finished overall length is approximately 260mm Size when completed Overall length is approx. 260mm The release date, price, product name, etc. are subject to change without notice.
