In 2004, to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, various commemorative aircraft were produced. This kit is a model of the T-4s from the 1st and 2nd Flight Squadrons of the 13th Flight Training Group at Ashiya Air Base in Kyushu. While the T-4 is typically associated with gray or pale blue, we have faithfully reproduced the 50th-anniversary logo and colorful markings using decals. This is a two-aircraft set designed so you can build and display the aircraft produced by each flight squadron side by side. The decals are manufactured by Cartograph.
