Another specially painted aircraft is joining the popular C-1 kit series, which faithfully reproduces the distinctive high-wing design at a scale of 1/144 and a length of approximately 200 mm. This model is based on an aircraft produced in 2018 by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force’s 2nd Transport Air Group to commemorate the unit’s 40th anniversary. The kit accurately reproduces the aircraft’s shape, and the special livery?featuring an eagle inspired by the unit’s insignia?is faithfully recreated in detail using decals. The finished model offers a unique look distinct from the commemorative liveries typically seen on fighter jets. The decals are manufactured by Cartograph.
