A master jet fighter that has been used in various countries since the start of operation in the 1960s and into the 2000s is the American F-4 Phantom II.
The F-4, which began its development as a U.S. Navy warship, was later adopted not only by the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Marine Corps, but also by many Western countries.
A variety of derivative models were created, and a reconnaissance aircraft was born.
The RF-4E, a reconnaissance aircraft, was also operated by the Japan Air Self-Defense Force, which started operation of the F-4 Phantom II in 1971.
The RF-4E, also known as the Recon Phantom, with the meaning of reconnaissance, was deployed to the 501st Squadron, the only JASDF scouting squadron deployed at Baili base.
In addition to gathering various types of information, we have demonstrated our strength in collecting information at the site of a disaster.
The Air Self Defense Force RF-4E, which has been active for a long time, retired in FY2019.

This kit reproduces the type of normal camouflage type RF-4E Phantom II of the JASDF 501st Squadron whose operation will end in 2019 on 1/144 scale.
Above all, it models the aircraft with special markings that appeared on the final tour that visited events such as air festivals around the country.
Including the unique nose shape of a reconnaissance aircraft called the Recon Phantom, the unique appearance of the Phantom II with delta wings, including the panel line, is fully reproduced.
Of course, markings are specially prepared with decals specially marked for the aircraft that participated in the final tour.
Marking of the band that imaged the shark teeth on the nose and the film drawn on the fuselage, or the illustration of the official character of the F-4 phantom drawn before the air intake is also reproduced.
The overall length is about 130mm, and the number of parts is reduced, making assembly easy.
