Plastic / aircraft model assembly kit

[About the actual machine]
A large fighter developed and deployed and operated by the United States Army during World War II is the P-47D Thunderbolt.
The engine is equipped with Pratt & Whitney's R-2800, an 18-cylinder star-type air-cooled engine that generates 2,000 horsepower, which was the strongest at the time.
Equipped with an exhaust turbine, it boasted a maximum speed of 690km / h.
The first flight was in May 1941.
From 1943, joined the European Front.
Initially, he was on duty as an Allied bomber unit escort, but when the new P-51 Mustang was deployed, it assumed its role on the ground.
It shifted to an attack and played an active part until the end of the war.
Various improvements have been made throughout the battle since its appearance, and various types have been created.
Among them, the D type was the representative type.
Improvements were made even among the D-types, and the shape of the fuselage changed significantly in the middle.
Initially, it had a style called a leather back that connected from the rear of the canopy to the tail, but a type equipped with a bubble type canopy appeared for the purpose of securing visibility.
More than 12,000 D-types were produced for each type.
