[About the actual machine]
The F6F Hellcat was developed and deployed and operated by the United States Navy during World War II.
Developed as a successor to the F4F, it first flew in 1942 and began operation in 1943.
The engine is equipped with a 2000 horsepower-class Pratt & Whitney R-2800.
The maximum speed was about 600km / h.
Armed with 12.7mm 50 caliber M2 browning heavy machine gun in the main wing, three single wings, a total of six.
Equipment such as air-to-ground rockets and bombs was also possible.
When the service was launched in 1943, it was mainly active in the Pacific theater.
It was mounted on an aircraft carrier and engaged in fierce battles with the Japanese Navy in the Pacific Ocean.
Recorded many achievements with powerful firepower and powerful engine.
Many ace pilots were born.
After World War II, it was in service until the 1950s and was retired.
[About the model]
The model reproduces the F6F Hellcat on a 1/144 scale, which is a U.S. Navy fighter on board in the Second World War.
F6F-5 is modeled.
The overall length of the finish is 72mm, an affordable size.
It is easy to assemble with a reduced number of parts, so I am looking forward to making collections and making comparisons.
Hellcat's powerful styles and panel lines are also accurately reproduced by capturing the atmosphere of the actual machine.
Delicate reproduction of legs etc. also enhances the real feeling.
The auxiliary fuel tank installed under the fuselage is also reproduced.
The kit includes two parts.
Marking includes CVG-15 Commander Commander David McCampbell, VF-17 aircraft carrier Hornet, and VF-27 aircraft carrier Independence.
It is a kit you want to enjoy easily.
