Kenzo is a speed research machine that has recently gained attention again, with the newly released recording film at the time of development that has been considered an illusion so far.
Kenzo, known as the "Fastest Wing in Japan", was developed by the Japanese Army during WWII.
It features a compact and sharp style specially designed for speed with the purpose of researching high-speed flight and establishing speed records for fighter design.
First flight in December 1942.
We repeated test flights at Kakamigahara Airfield in Gifu Prefecture, and on December 27, 1943, we recorded the highest speed of 699.9 km / h for a domestic reciprocating aircraft.
