[About the actual machine]
The Shiden Kai is a local fighter aircraft developed and operated by the Japanese Navy during World War II.
It was developed based on the strong wind developed as a surface fighter.
The first developed Shiden had the same middle wing type as strong winds, but further improvements as a land fighter were made, and a low wing type aircraft was completed.
It was formalized in January 1945.
The engine is equipped with a 2000 horsepower class Honor 21 type.
While exerting well-balanced and excellent performance such as maneuverability and speed, the battle situation worsened, and we struggled to intercept US military aircraft flying to the mainland.

[About the model]
The model reproduces the Japanese Navy's local fighter, Shiden Kai, which was active in World War II on 1/144 scale.
It models an early model with a large vertical tail area.
The total length is 65mm and the size is reasonable.
It's easy to assemble because the number of parts is kept down, so I'm looking forward to the collection and comparison.
The powerful forms and panel lines unique to Shiden are also accurately reproduced by capturing the atmosphere of the actual machine.
The delicate reproduction of the legs also enhances the feeling.
