[About the actual machine]
The Do 335A fighter is a fighter developed by Germany during World War II.
Equipped with a liquid-cooled V-type 12-cylinder engine that produces 1800 horsepower at the front and rear of the aircraft.
It was a twin-engine fighter with a unique design, equipped with propellers on the front and rear, and a cross-shaped tail on the tail.
Armed with one 30mm cannon and two 20mm cannons on the nose.
The prototype succeeded in its first flight in October 1943, and the mass-produced model was completed in September 1944.
Production did not progress in the worsening situation, and the number of completed aircraft was very small.
It was expected to play an important role in air defense battles in front of the rushing Allied forces, but production did not progress and the war ended without demonstrating its power in actual battles.
[About the model]
An aerial model special series that reconstructs and sends masterpiece aircraft kits from around the world so that you can enjoy them more closely.
For the 20th selection, we selected the Do 335A, a unique twin-engine aircraft developed by Germany during the war.
The parts of the kit are made of dragon model and accurately model the characteristic style on 1/72 scale.
I am looking forward to the unique layout and mechanism by making the engines arranged in the front and rear into parts.
The delicate expression of both the front and main landing gears promises a mechanical finish.
Of course, the details inside the leg storage are also realistic.
The cockpit is also delicately reproduced by adding detailed sculptural expressions such as seats and instrument panels.
Etching parts that sharpen the finish of the model are also set.
In addition, an easy-to-understand Japanese manual is also available for the weight parts to prevent stickiness.
Of course, the package is Platts original design.
It is a kit that you can feel the charm of Pfile with the sense of security unique to the aeronautical model special series that has been well received for its arrangement from the modeler's point of view.
* Please prepare a plastic model tool for assembly.
* Please use the plastic model adhesive to bond the parts.
* Please use the paint for plastic models.
