[About the actual machine]
The P-47D Thunderbolt is a large fighter developed, deployed and operated by the United States Army during World War II.
The engine is equipped with Pratt & Whitney's R-2800, which generated 2000 horsepower, which was the strongest at that time, and an 18-cylinder radial air-cooled engine. Equipped with an exhaust turbine, it boasted a maximum speed of 690km / h.
The first flight was in May 1941. Participated in the European Front from 1943.
Initially, he accompanied the Allied bomber unit, which went on air strikes from the United Kingdom to Germany, and took on the task of escorting, but when the new P-51 Mustang was deployed, the role was utilized by a sturdy aircraft.
He moved to the upper attack and was active until the end of the war.
Since its appearance, various improvements have been continued through actual battles, and various types have been created.
Among them, the D type was the representative type.
Improvements were also made in the D type, and the shape of the aircraft changed significantly from the middle.
Initially, it had a style called a leather back that connects the rear of the canopy to the tail, but a type equipped with a bubble type canopy has appeared for the purpose of ensuring visibility.
Furthermore, at the end of the war, the P-47M with improved speed performance with an enhanced engine also appeared.
He was active throughout the war.

The strength of the aircraft known for its toughness is also transmitted. The parts are made by Platts.
Easy to assemble is also attractive because it is divided into parts that are easy to assemble.
It contains parts for 2 machines, so I'm looking forward to making it.
For marking, select 4 types from the aircraft of the 56th Combat Air Group (56FG) of the US Army Air Corps.
The unit was led by Colonel Hubert Zemke, the commander of the unit, and operated the P-47 consistently from the beginning of commissioning to the end of the war. It is also known to have discharged many ace pilots.
Many ace were called "Zemkes Wolfpack" after the commander's name.
The four types of decals selected from their markings are made by the Italian cult graph company, which has a reputation for good finish. A marking kit with a fun collection.
