The license plates have colorful illustrations or characters on them to reproduce popular local design license plates. The set includes pre-printed etching parts for the license plate number and etching parts with only the illustration of the base plate number which you can choose by yourself. In this fifth set, there are three types of license plates in total: the Yamaguchi Prefecture, the Koshigaya City in Saitama Prefecture, and the Tomakomai City in Hokkaido, Japan, with the design of the Tomakomai City. The Yamaguchi license plate features Choruru, the head of Yamaguchi Prefecture's PR department, guiding visitors to Yamaguchi Prefecture's sightseeing spots, Kintai Bridge and Akiyoshidai. And Koshigaya City's license plate features an illustration of special citizen "Gaya-chan" collaborating with Minami-Koshigaya Awaodori, one of the three major Awaodori dances in Japan. The license plate of Tomakomai City, Hokkaido, features an illustration of Lake Utonai, two swans flying there, and an ice hockey stick and puck. In addition, the character "Toma Chop" holding a stick is laid out on the far right along with a map of Hokkaido showing Tomakomai's location. The set comes in two types: one with the illustrations and even the numbers pre-printed and ready to use, and one with a pre-printed base to which the numbers can be attached using the included decals. There are 12 plates and the number decals are made by Cartograf. This set is a fun way for car modelers to add an original finishing touch to their creations.
