The license plates for Suginami Ward, Tokyo, depict the Suginami Ward character "Namisuke" and Namie, Namisuke's younger sister, and have been gaining popularity since they were first issued in 2018. Next is the Yamagata Prefecture license plate with a popular design featuring a lovely depiction of Yamagata Prefecture's specialty, cherries. The illustration depicts lush red cherries and lush greenery.
