Armament parts are also included. About the actual aircraft: The F/A-18 Hornet is a ship-based fighter developed and operated by the U.S. Navy. The initial type F/A-18A/B was produced from 1979, and was deployed by the Marine Corps prior to the U.S. Navy starting in 1980. It is equipped with two GE F404-GE-400 turbofan engines. It boasted a maximum speed of Mach 1.7. The aircraft was armed with a single M61A1 20mm Vulcan cannon as a fixed armament. It was capable of operating various air-to-air, air-to-surface, and air-to-ship missiles. It was deployed not only in the United States but also in other countries around the world. The Royal Australian Air Force was one of them. 55 single-seat F/A-18As and 16 double-seat F/A-18Bs were produced and operated for the Royal Australian Air Force.
