Plastic ship model assembly kit
15.5 cm long when completed.
A Japanese Navy's vertical submarine with emphasis on long range reconnaissance and attack capabilities. It is a plastic model assembly kit of the I-58 that also completed as the last boat-shaped submarine in September 1972, and became the mother ship of the human torpedo round. The model was reproduced on July 30, 1955, just before the end of the war, when the US Navy heavy cruiser Indianapolis was sunk off the island of Palau. The hull is divided into left and right, and the details of the heel side and deck are delicately sculpted. It has a three-dimensional effect such as radar, gun guns, and six rolling sky. Periscopes can be assembled by choosing when to use and when to store. Also set decals such as ship number.
● Length: 145 mm when completed
