Action Figures (Anime/Sci-Fi Characters) Celebrating the 45th Anniversary of “King of Beasts Golion”! The Chogokin classic, Golion, makes a comeback as a Standard Chogokin figure! The “King of Beasts Golion” Standard Chogokin figure, originally released by Popy in 1981, is back! It can perform the “Four Lion Attack,” firing the four lion heads attached to its hands and feet as missiles. It can be equipped with a chrome-plated sword and shield in both hands. The “Sword of the Ten Kings” and Space Cutter feature a silver-plated finish. Combined with the chrome-plated parts on various sections of Golion’s body, they create a magnificent, regal appearance befitting a Chogokin figure. This Chogokin super robot stands approximately 150 mm tall. The body and both legs are made of die-cast metal. The standard Chogokin “King of Beasts Golion,” originally released by Popy in 1981, has been revived with the exact same texture and form as the original! This super robot is also highly popular overseas as “VOLTRON”! “King of Beasts Golion,” composed of five different-colored lion mechs! The head and body are the Black Lion, the left arm is the Green Lion, and the left leg is the Yellow Lion. The right arm is the Red Lion, and the right leg is the Blue Lion. Silver-plated parts are featured throughout the five lion mechs. The back of “King of Beasts Golion.” The two main wings mounted on its back have rotating joints that allow you to adjust their angle of spread. The green and red lion heads?which serve as the left and right hands?can be launched as punches! This is a classic gimmick of Chogokin super robots! The yellow lion on the left leg can also launch the head part that serves as the foot! The lion head launch gimmick from the limbs is a feature exclusive to this Standard Chogokin?it’s not found in DX Chogokin sets. The blue lion on the right leg can also launch the head part that serves as its foot! The action of firing four lion heads from both hands and feet was recreated in the anime as the “Four Lion Attack.” Includes the giant “J?? Sword” and the “Space Cutter,” which doubles as a shield. You can have the green and red lions?which serve as the left and right hands?hold these items as if they were clenched in their mouths. The hip and knee joints on both legs are articulated.
