Commemorating the "150th Anniversary of the Railway" and the "40th Anniversary of the Tohoku and Joetsu Shinkansen", the Series 200 color Shinkansen (Series E2) and the Series E3 Shinkansen Komachi are now available in a double set for Plarail. The E2 Shinkansen reproduces the coloring of the "Series 200 Shinkansen" when the Tohoku and Joetsu Shinkansen started operation, and the E3 Shinkansen reproduces the "Komachi" when the Akita Shinkansen started operation. Series 200 color Shinkansen (Series E2) is the model. Series E3 Shinkansen "Komachi" is a model. Both "Series 200 Color Shinkansen (E2)" and "Series E3 Shinkansen KOMACHI" are the cars of coupling specification (when you pull the lever of the third car, the magnet coupler appears and you can run two cars coupled together). Both cars can be connected and disconnected in a 3-car formation. Both cars run electrically at 2 speeds, and can be rolled by hand with the switch OFF. Rail is not included.
