The new Shinkansen Series E8 Tsubasa is already on the Plarail! This all-in-one set includes the Tomica Arch Railroad Crossing, which allows you to enjoy the E8 Series even more, and a limited edition color of the newly developed S-shaped rail! The cars can be connected with the optional Series E5 Shinkansen to recreate a real train formation! In addition, three additional S-rails in a limited color are included as a first-time bonus! The Series E8 Tsubasa is a mini Shinkansen of JR East, scheduled to start operation in March 2024, running on both Shinkansen and conventional line standards. Since the E8 Series also runs on conventional line sections, you can play with Tomica by recreating the actual scene at the arch crossing. The newly developed S-shaped rail is the same length as the straight rail and can move between double track widths, allowing you to enjoy gently curving scenes. The train is modeled after the "E8 Series Yamagata Shinkansen Tsubasa. The cars can be connected to other interconnected plastic rails for play, and can run electrically at two speeds or be rolled by hand with the switch off. The arch crossing can be played with by moving the barrier by hand, and can also be connected to the Tomica Town Doro. The included station allows you to park your 3-car train in a cool way, and you can also play with the separately sold PLA-KIDS. You can park other PLARAIL cars on the retractable tracks to enjoy parallel stops, or recreate a coupling scene. All other items are sold separately.
