The year 2022 marks the anniversary of each of JR East's Shinkansen lines in five directions. To commemorate "Shinkansen YEAR 2022," the Yamagata Shinkansen "Series 400 Tsubasa" and the Tohoku Shinkansen "Series E4 Max" are coming to Plarail in special sets in the colors they wore when they started commercial operation! Both are designed to be coupled together, allowing you to recreate the formation of the trains of that time. Modeled after the Shinkansen Tsubasa Series 400 (color at the start of commercial operation). Series E4 Shinkansen Max (color at the start of commercial operation) is the model. Both "Series 400 Tsubasa" and "Series E4 Max" are the cars of coupling specification. (When you pull the lever on the third car, the magnetic coupler will appear and you can connect two cars together and make them run.) Each of the three cars can be connected and disconnected.
