TAKARA TOMY Plarail Shinkansen 60th Anniversary Commemoration 0 Series Shinkansen Hikari 1 & Super Express Hikari Set

A double set commemorating the 60th anniversary of the Shinkansen and the 65th anniversary of Plarail is now available. This special set features a reproduction of the Series 0 Shinkansen Hikari No. 1 when it opened in 1964 and the Plarail Super Express Hikari No. 1, which was the first model to reproduce the actual train in the same year. A commemorative opening ticket inspired by the design of the time is also included. Modeled after the “0 Series Shinkansen Plarail Super Express Hikari” is the model. Each 3-car train can be connected and disconnected. Both trains run electrically at two speeds, and can be rolled by hand with the switch off. Includes a commemorative ticket for the opening of the train. Rail is not included. The ticket is a reproduction of the ticket on the plastic rail and cannot be used in actual use.
