The 103 series was a DC commuter train introduced in 1963. The Saikyo Line connects Osaki Station and Omiya Station. When the Saikyo Line opened in 1985, it was operated by the 103 series. However, replacement with the 205 series progressed, and commercial operation ended on December 10, 1990.
