Action Figure (Anime/Sci-Fi Character) Lost dreams link across time! The “Missing Link” series: hypothetical reissues of figures that might have existed in that era. The 13th installment features the anime version of Grimlock, commander of the dinosaur-transforming Dinobots! In 1985, the Dinobots gained popularity with a new concept: five members transforming into mechanical dinosaurs joined the Cybertronian army, which had previously been composed mainly of members transforming into vehicles. Now, their commander Grimlock arrives in the Missing Link series with numerous new features and a completely new design. C-13 reproduces the anime-inspired color scheme. Grimlock transforms from a mechanical Tyrannosaurus into robot mode. Retaining the use of die-cast metal in key parts, both forms now feature articulated joints allowing for dynamic posing. To match the emblem placement difference from C-12, the chest section in robot mode has been reshaped. The included weapon “Saber” is a red type inspired by older toys and overseas comic versions, recreating its sharp shape in hard plastic. Additionally, the handheld “Double Laser Gun” is included in an anime-spec two-tone color scheme different from C-12, and the “Missile Launcher” also features matching coloring. The missiles on the Missile Launcher can be attached and detached for imaginative play. Includes a “Human” (Worker Type) figure identical to the one included with C-05 Sunstreaker. This figure can be placed inside the cockpit hatch on the dinosaur's back. Grimlock's body features a “Secret Emblem” sticker. Warming it with your finger reveals the faction mark. The robot's back is equipped with a joint hole for a separately sold stand, allowing display in action poses. The package illustration is an original drawing inspired by the era, and a collection card is also included.
