Action Figures (Anime/Sci-Fi Characters) Lost dreams link across time! The “Missing Link” series: hypothetical reissues of figures that might have existed in that era. The 12th installment features Grimlock, commander of the dinosaur-transforming Dinobots! In 1985, the Dinobots gained popularity with a new concept: five members transforming into mechanical dinosaurs joined the Cybertronian army, which had previously been composed mainly of members transforming into vehicles. Now, their commander Grimlock arrives in the Missing Link series with numerous new features and a completely new design. Grimlock transforms from a mechanical Tyrannosaurus into a robot. Retaining its die-cast components, it now features articulated joints in both forms for dynamic posing. The colorful mechanical details, previously reproduced with stickers on older toys, are now rendered through sculpted surfaces and intricate paintwork. The included “Saber” weapon features a silver-plated finish inspired by the Diaclone era, with a sharp tip recreated in hard plastic. Two additional handheld guns are included: the “Double Laser Gun” and the “Missile Launcher”. The missiles for the Missile Launcher have had their firing function removed, allowing them to be attached and detached for imaginative play. Similar to C-11 Delta Magnus, a female-type “Human” figure is included. The cockpit hatch on the dinosaur's back can be opened to seat the figure inside. The robot body features a “Secret Emblem” sticker; warming it with your finger reveals the faction mark. The robot's back is equipped with a joint hole for a separately sold stand, allowing display in action poses. The package illustration is an original drawing inspired by the era, and a collection card is included.
