[Kawasaki's evolving supercharger bike]
Kawasaki Ninja H2 was announced at the 2014 Milan Show and monopolized the topic of the venue.
The name comes from the 1971 two-stroke three-cylinder Nanahan 750-SS / MACH II (H2), which caused a sensation around the world with overwhelming acceleration performance.
The H2 of the new generation specially developed a 998cc water-cooled parallel 4-cylinder engine equipped with a centrifugal supercharger to realize "providing acceleration power that nobody has ever experienced."
This engine with a maximum output of 200 horsepower is mounted on a steel tube trellis frame.
The cowl is shaped in pursuit of aerodynamics. The upper cowl with an open ram air intake has a chin spoiler shape at the bottom, and one headlight is located in the center.
The rear mirror stay has a wing cross-section that produces downforce.
In addition, various electronic control devices are installed on the vehicle body.
Ninja H2 CARBON is a special grade added in 2017.
As the name implies, the upper cowl was made of carbon fiber, and the engine was powered up to 205 horsepower.
