It featured a fully independent suspension with front struts and rear semi-trailing arms, disc brakes on all four wheels, and the world's first mass-produced “Adjustable Shock Absorber” system, allowing damper stiffness to be changed with a single switch. Additionally, it offered cutting-edge equipment for its time, including optional features like the “Drive Guide System,” which read the Earth's magnetic field to indicate distance and direction to the destination.
