Length=71 mm Photo shows kit assembled and painted Among the German military motorcycles of World War II, the KS600 represents the 600cc class. It is equipped with a horizontally opposed engine with an output of 28 hp and uses shaft drive for durability and ease of maintenance. With a sidecar attached, the KS600 could reach a maximum speed of 96 km/h and could travel approximately 300 km with a 15-liter fuel tank. Production began in 1938, and from the beginning of the war, it was used for mission control and reconnaissance work. Although production ended in 1941 with the introduction of its successor, the remaining vehicles were used in a wide range of theaters of war until the latter half of the war.
