This plastic model assembly kit is a 1/12 scale reproduction of the Lotus Type 72D that brought Team Lotus and E. Fittipaldi the championship in 1972. Overall length 400mm, width 173mm, height 87mm. Sharp wedge-shaped form is realistically modeled. Front and rear suspension with torsion bars is the same structure as the real car and works smoothly. Steering wheel and front wheels are linked by a rack and pinion steering mechanism. Ford DFV engine with fuel line and ignition cord piping and wiring. Front cowl and cockpit cowl fairings are detachable. Front and rear tires are made of hollow rubber. Includes etched parts and seatbelt parts for added precision. Driver doll included for added realism.
