【Fast-tracked tank with enhanced arming】
Among the British military cruise tanks used during the Second World War, when the enemy front broke through and pursued, reconnaissance, it is the crusader that became the main force in the North African Front.
The first Mk.I and modified Mk.II were equipped with a 2 pound gun (40 mm gun) as the main gun, but the final Mk.III is a more powerful 6 pound gun (57 mm gun) I converted it and competed against the German tank.
Deployment to each unit including the 7th Armor Division and the 6th Armor Division of the North African Front and the 11th Division of the Home Country started from the latter half of 1942.
The 6th Armored Division Crusader Mk. III, which was introduced to the Battle of Tunisia from the end of 1942, uses the attack power and good mobility of a 6-pound gun while suffering from mechanical troubles. He greatly contributed to the Allied Forces in the battle over Arada and the battle of Fort Caserine.
