Tamiya 1/24 Historic Car Series No.3 CITROEN 2 CV

[A Masterpiece of French Mass-Market Cars with Distinctive Personality] The Citroen 2CV is a French masterpiece of mass-market cars, with over 3.66 million units produced between 1948 and 1990. It is characterized by a rational and simple body design, an air-cooled two-cylinder engine mounted at the front providing just enough power to drive the front wheels, a spacious interior that comfortably seats four adults, and a smooth ride so gentle that it was said you could transport eggs without breaking them. Although the 2CV was initially described as a “tin can” or an “ugly duckling” upon its release, its high practicality and distinctive style quickly captivated many people, ensuring it would be loved for generations to come. 【 Model Specifications 】 ・This is a plastic model assembly kit that recreates the 1976 model of the French mass-market car, the Citroen 2CV. ・1/24 scale, 156 mm in length, 65 mm in width. ・The model faithfully reproduces the car’s distinctive shape, which stands out from every angle. ・The lower half of the driver’s side window is depicted raised. ・The horizontally opposed two-cylinder engine and transmission are also realistically rendered. ・The suspension?featuring front leading and rear trailing arms?incorporates a unique interconnected front-to-rear design where coil springs mounted centrally on both sides pull against each other front-to-back, offering an intriguing mechanism to observe. ・The canvas top can be displayed in two configurations: closed or rolled up at the rear for an open-top look. ・Overall Length: 156 mm *The photo shows the kit after assembly and painting.
