Overall length=270 mm. Photo shows assembled and painted kit. 【 Core of the 1980s U.S. Army 】 Deployed alongside the M1 Abrams tank as the U.S. Army's main battle tank in the 1980s, the M60A3 formed the core of tank units. Its cast hull, developed from the basic design of the M48 tank introduced in the 1950s, housed a supercharged air-cooled diesel engine. The similarly cast turret mounted a 105mm gun equipped with a thermal sleeve. Further enhanced with a laser rangefinder and ballistic computer, it delivered outstanding offensive capability. Production began in 1978, with over 3,600 units deployed. The M60A3 is one of the most powerful variants in the M60 series, serving as the mainstay for over 20 years. 【 Model Specifications 】 A 1/35 scale plastic model assembly kit. ● Overall length: 270mm, Overall width: 104mm. Realistically models its imposing presence, including the rounded cast turret and hull lower hull with its ship-like shape. ● The turret realistically depicts the texture of the cast surface and the main gun canvas. ● Choose between the Army type with a thermal sleeve on the main gun and the Marine Corps type without a thermal sleeve, featuring an exhaust pipe at the rear of the hull. ● The crew hatches on the turret are optional open/closed, and the driver's hatch is movable. ● The suspension arms are separate parts, giving the undercarriage a fully three-dimensional look. ● Tracks are belt-type, allowing for gluing and painting. ● Includes a commander figure and 3 types of decals. ● Set also includes approximately 30 accessories, such as tank shells and other vehicle-mounted items used by US Army ground forces from the 1980s to the 1990s, as well as infantry equipment like small arms. 【 Initial Release Month 】 June 1988 Information current as of March 3, 2026.
