Overall length: 156 mm. Photo shows assembled and painted kit. [New Generation Form and Performance: RYAZAN, Enter the Stage] A plastic model assembly kit for a four-wheel drive racer offering high-performance driving and racing enjoyment. The Mini 4WD RYAZAN is a machine designed by Mr. Kota Nezu, creator of the ‘Raikiri’ and ‘Elegitter’. Its low, sharp body form evokes birds of prey like falcons and eagles. The smoke-colored center part, reminiscent of a real high-end sports car's monocoque structure, is fitted with red body panels. Not only does assembly feel like building a real car, but it can also be finished in an open-top state with the panels removed. The chassis employs the ME, featuring a double-shaft motor for superior drive efficiency. The finely designed T-spoke wheels, which give the stance a taut look, are fitted with small-diameter low-profile tires. 【 The ME Chassis: Refined Drive Efficiency and Lightness 】 The ME chassis was born as the third chassis to feature a double-shaft motor, following the MS and MA. “ME” stands for “Midship Evolution.” Developed under the concept of “light, flexible, and easy to use,” this chassis incorporates moderate flex in the chassis body for high road-following capability while ensuring sufficient torsional rigidity in the drivetrain. Furthermore, it achieves weight reduction while retaining the MA chassis's ease of assembly. Key points include using lightweight, high-rigidity ABS resin for the chassis body and rollers (A-parts), and employing low-friction POM resin for the shaft bearings. Additionally, the front and rear bumpers are split types attached to the chassis body with screws. It comes standard with a 3.5:1 gear ratio for high-speed performance. 【 Basic Specifications 】 ● Assembled dimensions: Length 156mm, Width 97mm, Height 40mm ● Includes double shaft motor ● Gear ratio: 3.5:1 ● Assembles without glue, using snap-fit and screw connections only 【 Items to Purchase Separately 】 ● 2 AA batteries Kota Nezu (Designer / Creative Communicator) After working as a designer at Toyota Motor Corporation, he established znug design in 2005. He handles concept planning and design for industrial products, including automobiles, and has received numerous awards such as the Good Design Award and Germany's iF Award. He operates under the principle of “connecting” people involved in manufacturing. The package depicts the Ryzan, characterized by its sharply defined front mask. The flowing styling draws design motifs from soaring falcons and eagles. The wide & low, sharp body delivers a commanding presence. The left and right fenders and rear body panels are removable. This design evokes the assembly process of attaching body panels to the monocoque of a real high-end sports car. The chassis employs the ME with a double shaft motor. Compared to the MA chassis, it achieves a weight reduction of approximately 8g. The front and rear bumpers are separate parts. Beyond easy replacement, attaching various optional plates sold separately adds to the fun. Don't overlook the standard equipment of six 13mm plastic rollers. The chassis underside features cutouts for easy battery replacement. The T-spoke wheels, with their intricate design and three-dimensional shape, are fitted with small-diameter low-profile tires. The front and rear bumpers are separate parts. Beyond easy swapping, attaching various optional plates sold separately is also a fun customization option. This expands your customization possibilities. Appearance with front and rear bumpers removed. It also looks great as a display model. Assembly is possible even with the rear body cowling removed for an open-top look. A driver figure (sold separately) can be seated inside. Information is current as of September 19, 2025.
