Plastic / aircraft model assembly kit
Swordfish was developed before World War II as a major lightning striker for the Royal Navy Air Force.
It has a solid design such as a fuselage with fixed wings and biped wings and a steel pipe frame.
We struggled through the war, making use of its large loading capacity and excellent operability.
In 1943 the engine was upgraded to a power-boosting version, and the Mk.II with the lower wing of the lower wing made metal-plated to equip anti-ship rockets appeared.
The place of activity was transferred to anti-submarine patrol mission to counter the commercial destruction by U-boat of German navy.
Swordfish Mk.II installed on MAC ship and escort aircraft carrier, which is a simplified carrier that has remodeled an existing merchant ship,
By the end of the war, they killed or destroyed nearly 20 U-boats, contributing to the Allied victory.
It is a plastic model assembly kit of Swordfish Mk.II which continued flying to the fleet escort in the late WWII.
★ 1/48 scale, total length 230.5 mm, total width 289 mm.
Modeled by suppressing the difference between a large oil cooler, an extinguishing exhaust pipe, a radar antenna, etc. with Mk.I.
★ The surface of the feather-covered fuselage realistically expresses the texture of the raised ribs.
★ The wings can be assembled in a folded state.
★ The inside of the cockpit has a sense of precision that has been reproduced to the steel pipe frame.
★ A lot of accessories such as anti-ship rockets and flares, additional fuel tanks are also set.
★ With three types of markings, such as three crewmen's dolls and an aircraft under anti-submarine patrol based on white.
