A color variation paying homage to the anime Beast Wars: Super Lifeform Transformers is now available for the DLX Optimus Primal action figure based on the movie Transformers: Beast Awakening! The “DLX Optimus Primal (Beast Wars Universe Edition)” is a fully articulated figure (non-transforming) standing approximately 28.5cm tall. Its distinctive red, blue, and black paint scheme pays homage to the colors from the anime ‘Beast Wars: Transformers: The Super Lifeform’, featuring the Maximals logo on the chest. This color variation also introduces new weaponry: two pairs of Mega Blasters can be mounted on the back, and each forearm can be equipped with a Wrist Cannon. The Mega Blasters feature adjustable angles, and clear plastic missiles can be spring-loaded and fired from their tips. The Mega Blasters attach magnetically to the forearms. The “DLX Optimus Primal (Beast Wars Universe Edition)” utilizes a die-cast metal frame to achieve approximately 74 points of articulation?the most in the series. The actuator cylinders on the torso, arms, and legs are fully functional. It features precise painting, including weathering effects. The distinctive fur on the shoulder armor is recreated using soft PVC. Three interchangeable head mask parts are included (closed-mouth battle mask, open-mouth battle mask, and face without battle mask). The eyes feature LED illumination. Two signature Cyberblades are included as weapons. The Cyberblades can combine into one blade via a connector or connect using the included metal chain. Four pairs of interchangeable wrist parts and one DLX Action Stand are included, allowing for the recreation of various scenes from the show. The DLX series captures the complex designs of Transformers in figures with a manageable size and high cost performance.
