Action Figures (Anime/Science Fiction Characters) “Griffon” from *Mobile Police Patlabor* debuts in its Aqua Unit configuration as part of ‘Robodo’! From the long-running, popular anime series *Mobile Police Patlabor*, Shaft Enterprises’ experimental prototype Labor, the “Griffon,” debuts in its Aqua Unit configuration as part of threezero’s “Robodo” series!　 The “Robodo Griffin with Aqua Unit” is a 1/35 scale (total height approx. 24.9 cm including the backpack) articulated figure, crafted from ABS, PVC, POM, die-cast zinc alloy, and fabric. Die-cast zinc alloy is used for the articulated frame, enabling a total of approximately 60 points of articulation throughout the body. Fabric is used for the elbow, waist, hip, and knee covers, successfully balancing the reproduction of the Griffin’s silhouette with articulation. Furthermore, threezero’s signature weathering effects have been subtly applied to the fabric to enhance realism even further. While the previously released standard edition of the Griffon featured a flight unit as its backpack, the “Robodo Griffon Aqua Unit Equipped” version is equipped with a newly sculpted Aqua Unit. Although the body’s overall paint finish features the same beautiful gloss finish as the standard edition, the round details on various parts have been upgraded to a metallic finish. The “Robodo Griffon with Aqua Unit” also features various gimmicks to enhance playability. To expose the cockpit, the upper half of the chest section can be lifted up, and the abdominal hatch can be opened forward. By removing the internal block, the pilot seat is exposed, allowing the included non-articulated “Badrinath Harchand” pilot figure to be seated there. Additionally, by lifting the Griffon’s head section?including the collar?you can see inside the cockpit. The distinctive giant wings each have four articulation points, allowing for a wide range of poses. Even when equipped with the large backpack, the model maintains its balance easily thanks to the weight of the zinc alloy die-cast frame in the legs. Also included are four pairs of interchangeable wrist parts for different poses and a Robo-Do universal action stand.
