To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the release of *Transformers: The Movie*, an articulated action figure featuring color schemes inspired by the animated film is now available in the MDLX line! The first releases are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron, and each of these three items comes with a card featuring an original illustration by Nobuyoshi Habara, who created the original artwork and illustrations for the TV anime series. The MDLX line of Transformers figures is based on the original 1980s TV anime series, with design adaptations by threezero’s Art Director, Kelvin Sau. The “MDLX Bumblebee (Transformers: The Movie 40th Anniversary Edition)” is a fully articulated figure (non-transforming) standing approximately 12 cm tall. The use of a frame system made of die-cast zinc alloy and engineering plastic provides approximately 36 points of articulation and high durability. Compared to the standard edition of the “MDLX Bumblebee (‘Transformers: The Movie’ 40th Anniversary Edition)” already released overseas, the color separation on various parts of this version more closely matches the coloring seen in the movie. Included accessories are one laser blaster, two interchangeable head variants (standard head and masked head), and three pairs of interchangeable wrist parts.
