To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the release of *Transformers: The Movie*, an articulated action figure inspired by the color schemes from the animated film is now available from the MDLX line! The first releases are Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron, and each of these three items comes with a card featuring an original illustration by Nobuyoshi Habara, who created the original artwork and illustrations for the TV anime series. The MDLX line of Transformers figures is based on the original 1980s TV anime series, with design adaptations by threezero’s Art Director, Kelvin Sau. The “MDLX Megatron (‘Transformers: The Movie’ 40th Anniversary Edition)” is a fully articulated figure approximately 18 cm tall (non-transforming). The use of a frame system made of die-cast zinc alloy and engineering plastic provides approximately 45 points of articulation and high durability. Compared to the standard edition of the “MDLX Megatron (‘Transformers: The Movie’ 40th Anniversary Edition)” already released overseas, this version features updated chest details and decals. Included accessories are the Fusion Cannon, Back Cannon, and four types of interchangeable wrist parts.
