To commemorate the 40th anniversary of the release of *Transformers: The Movie*, an articulated figure inspired by the color scheme from the animated film is now available from the MDLX line! Following the first wave featuring Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, and Megatron, the second wave includes Hot Rod and the gray Coronation Starscream. The MDLX line of Transformers figures is based on the original 1980s TV anime series, with design adaptations by threezero’s Art Director, Kelvin Sau. The “MDLX Coronation Starscream (‘Transformers: The Movie’ 40th Anniversary Edition)” is a fully articulated figure (non-transforming) standing approximately 20 cm tall. The use of a die-cast zinc alloy and engineering plastic frame system provides approximately 50 points of articulation and high durability. The “MDLX Coronation Starscream (‘Transformers: The Movie’ 40th Anniversary Edition)” is a color variation of the standard MDLX Starscream?already released overseas?featuring the gray color scheme he wore just before being reduced to ashes by Galvatron’s Particle Cannon in the movie. It also includes the crown, cloth cape, and shoulder armor (all removable) seen in the coronation scene immediately preceding that moment. Additional accessories include two interchangeable facial expressions, a backpack with wings, a pair of laser cannons, a pair of blades, a gun formed from Megatron’s transformed form, and five pairs of interchangeable wrist parts.
